Getting Started
Installation, controls and connections, care and maintenance of your Delta Media Server.
This overview will help you get started. It covers how servers are connected, the Delta software is installed and used, how shows play and are controlled, the supported media formats, and where media is located and how it is organised. Here also you can assess storage and performance requirements.
The two sizes are not the same; know the differences and why.

Delta Software Guides
This guide covers the functionality of Delta Media Servers, using the DeltaGUI display setup, and creating shows from mixed media, multiple effects, and controls. This guide covers all display modes: flat-plane, dome, mesh, and composition.
A flatplane example of installation, setup and configuration, export as MPCDI and import into Delta.
For Delta 2.5 users, this guide covers the functionality of Delta Media Servers, using the DeltaGUI display setup, and creating shows from mixed media, multiple effects, and controls. This guide covers all display modes: flat-plane, dome, mesh, and composition.
Download PDF guides for DeltaServer and DeltaGUI from Delta 2.0 to 2.4.
DeltaRealTime merges the high-fidelity playback of Delta Media server with real-time interactive assets (e.g. from Unity, or Unreal Engine) to create real-time high fidelity, interactive 3D scenes, whether for a game, exhibit, simulation environment or themed attraction.

Web Interface Modules
For the core modules, see in Managing Delta Media Servers.
StackAnnotate is an add-on to the Stack web interface that allows basic drawing and text annotations to be superimposed on the web preview window of a Delta show, and saved with the underlying frame as a snapshot. Requires DeltaServer 2.6.
StackCaptioning is an optional module in the Stack web interface, which provides automatic audio and/or visual captioning for rides and attractions, on Android devices: tablets, smart glasses, or similar mobile devices.
This latest version allows flexible playing from up to 8 timelines, insertion of Delta Sequences, and movie preview for easier show assembly. StackExpress shows can be built and saved, replayed, or used simply in real-time.
Simple playlist sequences can be configured and run on a Delta Media Server via the Stack web interface. StackExpress is an add-in to the Stack core modules. StackExpress shows can be built and saved, replayed, or used simply in real-time.
Digital Signage management and display control via the Stack web interface. Configure, schedule and manage with the precise timing required for live events and/or paid-for commercial displays. Total web control of networked Delta Media Servers driving large-format digital signage, with full client reports and proof-of-display.

Configuring Displays and Managing Media
GPUs: emulating and grouping displays with AMD and NVIDIA. Spanning media across LED displays with different pixel-pitch, setting up video walls.
Get the best performance from your servers by optimising media. Distributed File Manager (DFM) provides the means to convert compressed file formats into .sth/.7th frame formats. Delta Content Protection System (CPS) offers both encryption, and playback restriction to venues and time windows. Learn to carve media for efficient dome projection. 7TH and STH Plugins for Adobe After Effects and Nuke enable movie compositions to be saved directly into .7th/.sth format. BackPack is our network file distribution application.
Using Zixi Receiver and Delta Stream capture resources to display, record and replay broadcast sources. (From Delta 2.6.54)

Device Control and Interaction
DeltaServer can control external devices, whether projectors, lighting, stage and theatre effects machines, or playback devices including smart glasses, 3D synchronised glasses and VR headset. All you need to operate Art-Net / DMX devices.
7thConnect is a real-time I/O manager and external show control builder, designed to allow for node-based, drag-and-drop visual programming. This application builder offers real-time control of Delta from many popular I/O devices such as Kinect®, Leap Motion®, Phidget® I/O devices and TCPIP.
